1. Introduction
WooMedia Matrix is an elite catalog uploader custom-designed to resolve speed bottlenecks for inventory teams. It bridges the gap between WordPress Media Library bulk uploads and live WooCommerce physical store products. By intercepting newly uploaded images, tagging them, and collecting them into an interactive grid, it allows you to configure prices, SKUs, titles, and categories in bulk, and compile them into physical WooCommerce database models in seconds.
2. WooCommerce Core Prerequisite
⚠️ CRITICAL PREREQUISITE REQUIREMENT:
WooCommerce must be installed and active FIRST before attempting to activate this plugin. The plugin directly utilizes deep core database classes and hooks of WooCommerce. Attempting to run this plugin without WooCommerce initialized will trigger a graceful warning notification inside the admin panel, and the plugin will deactivate itself to prevent database fatal exception errors.

3. Step-by-Step Installation
Locate woomedia-matrix.zip
Ensure you extract the deliverable package zip. Look for the installable ZIP file named woomedia-matrix.zip.
Upload to WordPress Admin Console
Log in as administrator, go to Plugins -> Add New -> Upload Plugin, select the woomedia-matrix.zip file, and click upload.
Click Activate
Activate the plugin. The system validates the active environment and builds the taxonomy mappings inside the SQL database.
4. Working with the Matrix Dashboard
Navigate to WooCommerce -> 🔌 Media Matrix in your sidebar menu:
- Upload Media: Upload raw product images. The taxonomy interceptor immediately tags them with classification term slug:
unassigned_product_image. - Review Queue: Unassigned images appear inside the Matrix table grid in real-time.
- Customize Specifications: Select simple or external/affiliate product type. Provide prices, stock quantities, attributes like material/sizes, and custom SKUs.
- Generate Products: Click the "Create WooCommerce Post Products" button. The plugin handles SQL post creations, registers images, and completes transactions in bulk.
- Catalog Deletes: Use the Active WooCommerce Catalog table at the page margins to instantly review recent items and delete stale products instantly.
5. Technical Security & Data Sanitization

- WordPress Nonces Validation: Prevents Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF). Every AJAX request verifies unique session hashes.
- Strict Capability Guards: Requests are restricted strictly to WordPress super administrators via
manage_options. - Output Escaping: Utilizes
esc_html(),esc_attr(), andesc_url()on every single HTML output field to protect against Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). - Input Sanitization: Employs
sanitize_text_field(),intval(), andesc_url_raw()dynamically on payload ingestions.
